Using the handle, the beam clamp can be opened and closed according to your beams width. A hoist can suspend from a beam or the beam clamp can be used to lift a beam.
Beam clamps are to be tighten by hand. Tightening a beam clamp with a pipe or a cheat-bar damages the thread.
